My life updates - Getting married in 8 days!

Hello, 

It has been a really long time, nearly half a year since the last post. I have had so many updates in my life, and one of the biggest ones is that I finally moved to the UK to get married to my boyfriend of 3 years! The process of UK fiance visa application was nerve-wracking and required patience, patience and patience... I will probably leave the notes of our experiences in my blog later. 

I came to the UK on the 12th of November. The last time I met my fiance was actually in October last year, which means we didn't see each other for more than a year. I cannot tell how many times I cried and got grumpy at the unfair situation of the pandemic. Although the current technology helped us a lot in a way in which I could still feel close to him and special about our relationship, the fact I spoke to him through the screen made me think like we could perhaps be in a parallel world or the time we spent together in person was indeed my absolute daydreaming and never happened. I was being a little too dramatic, I admit, but honestly, there were hundreds of times that I wished I could have felt his physical touch to make myself reassured as it was real. I missed him so much. 

I am extraordinarily happy that we finally ended our long-distance journey and are going to move to a new life stage together. We are getting married in 8 days! I still can't believe it!! I hope what we learnt from our LDR experiences - being patient, communicating well, caring and supporting each other and finding moments of joy and happiness in the little things - will continue to strengthen our relationship. 

In health and sickness, through sorrow and success, for all the days of my life, I will respect him, love him and cherish the moments of us together.
